There seems to have two gospels of John with the Life Application notes. In 2001 it seems Tyndale published an edition with the 1996 NLT text; look for ISBN 084236580X. There is an edition with the second edition text; look for ISBN 9781414381176. They are available on the Bibles at cost site.

I’m thinking something similar. There should be a gift version of Mark, John, Romans or New Testament psalms and proverbs? Maybe there other books of the bible that capture the gospel message and also go over the Christian life.
